The French, or Parsians, also aren't welcoming of muslims into their society which only exacerbates the isolation issue. The French will give preference to other French in the job search process and have turned away muslims.

I recommend this three part documentary series for everyone. Muslim, non Muslim, atheist etc. It is an amazing look at the early history of Islam starting with Mohamed. Just like fundamentalist Christianity, it is amazing to see how religions get self serving interpretations and taken to extremes from what are often more genuinely enlightened beginnings.
