New Nissan X-Trail

Its coming to Canada as a 2005 model. It uses the QR25DE that's in the Sentra SE-R right now. Question I have is about bringing over an SR20VET to swap in :devil: This little engine puts out a huge 280HP. You can get it in the X-Trails in Japan.

Don't count on Nissan bringing that motor over in the X-trail or anything else. There are Turbo's aftermarket for the Sentra's and Altima's with the 2.5's so maybe you can stick it in that.

I don't think Nissan is going to spend money on emission control for the SR20VE/SR20VET/SR16VE. It's probably just not worth it.

The X-trail just got delivered today at work. Smaller than i thought it would be. I initially thought it was a honda cr-v. I havent had the opprotunity to take it for a rip yet tho. All around nice ride :thumbsup:

What dealer you work at?
I'm over at Sunridge and we too just got a couple in today.
I don't like them that much though. Huge sunroof's tho.

Anyone have stats on the suv yet?
eg) 0-100, 1/4 mile, tranny options?

Stadium :thumbsup: I love it. Im gonna get a Nissan for my next car. 240's 300's and 350's are surprisingly roomy. I like the SE-R also

yeah i got my first nissan like 8 months ago...before that i was a honda driver..id never buy another honda...my maxima is a wicked car....the x-trail looks great!!
