I know everybody always complains about this here, but what's the actual deal with the rock chips here?

I finally broke down and bought a new windshield two weeks ago, and already have 2 rock chips since then :banghead:

Why would you buy a new windshield this time of year before gravel is swept up by streetsweepers and rain? That's like kicking yourself in the balls.

Calgary... either replace annually, or drive till you cant see shit and get a new one

Old one was getting brutal. Pitted and a nasty crack in line of sight.
