Hi all

I have a toilet rough in of 10" - super hard to find a new toilet. Was thinking of an adapter to 12". It is a cast iron pipe in concrete slab (sub floor) and has a copper flange.... old school. Any ideas? Any recommendations?

Thanks.

I have a 10" rough-in (cast pipe with a bronze flange) in one of my bathrooms.

I was actually able to fit in a Toto Drake with the outlet near the front of the 4" drain and the studs still lined up. Not a perfect scenario but it beat spending money on a 2" offset for a bathroom that will be gutted in the next year or two.

If you are willing to pay for the offset it might be worth buying the new 12" rough-in toilet first and checking to see if it might fit.

I bought a Kohler 12" rough in and it did not fit. I think I might go with a unifit toto - I just had the floors redone and it seems like a lot of work to get a 12" offset.

The unifit is your best bet. Toto makes good toilets.

I can also vouch for the Toto Drake, its what I have in my home and typically what I install for customers who don't supply their own.

The 10" one? How much are they?
