How complex is your offer? I don't think a lawyer would have added any value to the employment offers I've gotten. Just started a new job last fall, and while the employment offer and supporting documents were probably a dozen pages, none of it was terribly complex. I did read it carefully, but aside from some time to think it over, I don't see what else I would have needed.

Maybe your offer is different?
