This is pretty insane. A well built Jetpack, flying around Dubai.

Yves Rossy is a stud. He has been doing this for years.

And some say money can't buy happiness.

Its not a jetpack as much as a wing with jet propulsion. Rossy has had a few close calls and has been doing this for something like 10 years I think. 15 min of flight time?

Now, consider the military applications. Group of DEVGRU men flying in the cover of darkness. Enemy radar shows a signal return of what appears to be a flock of birds (hope they can fly slow). You can bet this has been used by the military for years.

when a watch sells for thousands upon thousands of dollars and people buy a shit ton of em, I figure those companies can afford a measly little jet powered wing

:D ;)

How do they deal with elevation changes that rapidly without pressurization? Just man up?

Nav Canada, and Transport Canada would have a conniption fit if someone even thought of trying to fly one of those here.

It isn't anything to really be bothered with. Pressurized cabins are purely for a pilot's / passenger comfort and to prevent hypoxia at altitudes over 10,000 feet, although you can go over 10,000 feet safely for about 20 minutes at a time with no ill effects, or almost indefinitely with supplemental oxygen.

Since this guys flights don't last 20 mins, or go that high, he shouldn't have any issues. He is going to have the same problems a sky diver experiences during a jump.
