Question about Lease Transfers

Tried to do a search on this but didn't get a clear answer so hopefully someone knows the answer to this question. If I want to take over a lease from BC to here in Aberta, would I still be expected to pay the 12% tax since it originated there? Or would the terms and conditions stay the same but just transfer to here in AB and now I would pay 5% for each payment and also 5% on the buyout residual amount? Thanks.

The new lease contract would be in your name with whats presumably an Alberta address. You would also be registering the car here so the lease payment would change from including 12% to including 5%.
