Well from what i have read on jsc is only bad things. Bad as in warrantys etc. Also heard there not very reliable but thats just what i heard.

it was white, not too souped,, front lip roll cage and lowered, but by judging how fast it was, he must have spent all him money on engine mods, cuz im willing to bet, it the fastest teg in calgary
:burnout:

Not very reliable compared to what? A stock engine...?

No the super charger itself on a built or whatever engine. I just have read some bad reviews on the jrs thats all.

I don't know the guy, but he doesn't work there. He just gets his work done there. Apparently he races it.

Yep, I know the car, he is one of our customers. It is a white '97 with the JRSC and a few other goodies. He even uses the Type R for it's intended purpose...road course track days

There is nothing wrong with a JRSC on a Type R. Many guys on Honda-tech.com have them and a few are producing over 250whp.
Hondata also has a basemap for the ITR and they dynoed their car close to 260whp & 190 ft/lbs.....that' a lot of power for a car that weights very little. (especially on the track)

That's funny you mentioned this guy because i had a run in with him couple nights ago on country hills blvd. It was a white type-r. He wanted to go at it from the lights. I did not know his car had a S/C so i take off fast at the light's but he burns rubber for like a second or two. By that time i was like 2 car lengths front of him. Shifted to 3rd gear then he started to creeeep up my a$$.

I started to slow down( I did not want to street race) and he flew by me. All i could hear was his S/C. If i didn't slow down he could have kicked my butt. Very nice car never the less. Very FAST.

I would like to go at it with this guy at Race City. It will be a close race after i get my pulley back on the C230.

Took out the pulley for service at Lone Star. If they see it they might VOID my warranty. Will put it back on next month.;)

P.S I think he lives close to me on Panaroma Hills N.W I seen him few times up there.

Forgot to mention that my car pulls 191 rwhp without the pulley on Toma's Dyno. This with a chip upgrade and a ITG Air filter. With the pulley she pulls and extra 30 +rwhp around 221 rwhp. I will take it to the track this year to see what she will do 1/4.

I wonder how much HP the integra type-r has? Anyone know this guy?

ya i plan on cutin my new car loose this spring at secret street, havent done much to he yet but i need to get a good baseline. and also i think the type r has around 190 hp and the jrsc adds about another 60, but i dont know what else it has had done to it but i would estimate over 250 at the wheel:drool:

Teggy2nr

ya ive seen him at the td bank there too by the sobeys, ya i raced him and a civic along counry hills blvd, and he passed us in a merging lane, me and the civic were doin about 100 and he flew past us like we were standing still, and then i raced him from the lights at berksheir blvd heading towards country hills blvd and he handed me ass to me on a platter, i dont mean to brag but i consider my car pretty quick but after seeing that i made me rethink my plan on getting a turbo and mabey goin for the jrsc

Does the type-r have 190HP at the wheels? or just 190hp from the factory? I don't know tooo much about these cars. thanks...

190 at the flywheel i think, and thats pretty damn good for 1.8 N/A 4 cylinder. I dont think that anything else can clame that

Hes a fuckin tool.
He was driving on deerfoot weeving in an out of traffic at 130+km/hr.
and I mean it was REALLY CLOSE!
Almost took out a car full of little kids and there parents in a minivan.
I was in my aunts GSR doing 120 and going STRAIGHT!
He drives like a moron.
If I had a chance to get up to him at the light I would have fuckin smacked his cocky ass. :whipped:

No, not nervous at all. But i just don't trust Lone Star. Their service adviser is an a$$. Imagine if i had my pulley in when my head gasket went on the c230. they would have said, Hey you got a pulley, sorry your Warranty is VOID. Then i would have been F***ed.

15s? lol thats pretty bad..

Ouch 15 only?? by the sounds of this, i'd expect him 2 run atleast 13s, maybe 14s

Shaolin
03-15-2004, 12:12 AM
well i wasn't there to see it, so i'm just saying what I heard.. apparently the guy didn't know how to launch and was really slow off the line. :dunno:

Ben
03-15-2004, 02:15 AM
considering mildly tuned ITR's run high 14's. at Race City.

Teggy2nr
03-15-2004, 04:06 PM
he must of been bad off the line cuz a stock ITR can run in the 15's, and they go zero to sixtey in 6.1 so with the jrsc he should be in the low 14's i would say.

QuasarCav
03-15-2004, 04:44 PM
He's pretty fat guys, you have to count that. I'm sure with a skinny bastard behind the wheel he would be in the 14's

ITR's are fast, S/C ITR's are faster, but I'd take you up on that bet that it's not the fastest teg in Calgary :).

I'm willing to bet that redline's and legendboy's tegs are a bit quicker hehe.

My buddy has a very similar car,
He was running low 13's with winter tires, anyone with that setup running 15's is a joke.
jrsc
ten psi pulley
hondata 2b
rc440 injectors
jdm dc 2.5 headers
etc...

Teggy2nr
03-15-2004, 10:54 PM
the only teg that might be faster is the blue one that ive seen at speedtech, its been in modified mag and when he runnin 15-20 psi of boost hes at 355 hp at the wheel, but at 25 to 28 psi 455 hp, and it u dont beleive me go to speedtech, its right there on the wall behind the front desk
