haven't heard anything about the reliability of them, but they look real good.

I think the 6 along with most of Mazda's lineup is a really good value for the price. I think it's too early to tell about the reliability or anything.

The duratec 3.0l does like to spin bearings from time to time, allways seems to happen early in the vehicles life though. Still working out some evap bugs last time I heard. Really well built car though.

Don't forget about the rust issue in the doors.....

Of course Mazda calls it "surface staining" and there is no cause for concern. If I owned the car and this was happening, I would be concerned.

this would have been a great car if the 3 didn't come out

While I consider 3 to be top choice for the segment, same can't be said for the 6.

The only prop I can give to the 6 Sedan is the styling and handling. Everything else is sub-par (interior material, reliability) or average (crappy V6, top end model cost too much) compare to its usual competitors.

6 Wagon and hatch are coming. I would only pick them because Honda, Nissan and Toyota doesn't offer this variant.

The mazda 6 wagon performs better than the sedan according to what they say in hong kong reviews. Seems like mazda likes to make their wagon/hatch vehicles perform better.

Yea, so the dads that are forced to drive a wagon can still have a little bit of pride, lol

i think the both the 6 and 3 are pretty reliable, certianly the body design is quite nice, but i'm not sure about the wagon, i'd rather get a sedan myself, but if u go skiing or on long trips with lots of stuff then the wagon would do fine.
