Hi team,

So my favorite band wants to come to Calgary but they don't have a venue. Can I get some advice for cheap places to host a small band? These guys rock but need some help getting out. Date is set for June 13th.

A house party would also be welcome but it would need to be on a farm or something where noise isn't a problem.

Tupperware Remix party is the band. Here (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uOWWaRbZucE) is the latest single.

If anyone has any connection with bar managers I would compensate for the help.

You may want to try Morgan's pub on 17th, my old band still plays there fairly often. Some locations of original Joe's have live music as well, also worth looking into.

Cafe Koi has live music, there's a lot of local musicians that play there.

Depending on the type of venue you're looking for...a few other places you can take a look at are:
Wine-Oh
The Palomino
Raw Bar
IronWood Stage & Grill

Fourth spot does live music. Too bad they are on such short notice. Places like Mikeys, The Ironwood, Festival Hall, Palominos are probably booked months in advance.
