Yes cause whores, they get Banned, very quickly...

Just post pertinent info, in the threads and you will slowly move up the ranks...

This table should help you determine when you will move up a level. Be forewarned - post whores will be banned without notice :D

Newbie (Minimum Posts: 0)
Neutral (Minimum Posts: 100)
First Gear (Minimum Posts: 350)
Second Gear (Minimum Posts: 750)
Third Gear (Minimum Posts: 1000)
Fourth Gear (Minimum Posts: 2000)
Fifth Gear (Minimum Posts: 3000)
Sixth Gear (Minimum Posts: 4000)

Yes, if you post for example, 5 times in any one thread located in the Car portion of this forum, your post cound goes up by 5. so if you posted 30 times in one thread your post count increases by 30.

Newbie is just a little ranking, if you post enough intelligent things and show your stuff (that you know what you're talking about, not how much you brag) then people will begin to recognise you (maybe not on a forum this big though) and remember who you are, and whether or not you are a newb.

all forums i've been to have a simliar system to identify the number of posts by the person. just all different terms...

first gear = junior member
second gear = member
third gear = serinor member

etc etc its just the way the forum system is....
