View Full Version : Was the Titanic a real ship?

Seems to be some sort of Iraqi disinformation minister thing happening with the consciousness of todays youth. A disconnect with anything to do with the ocean (like how Atlantis is completely fictional) and how North Korea has a navy roughly the raw numbers of the US:

Do you believe that the Titanic was a real ship launched in 1912, and that it sank to the bottom of the ocean on collision with an iceberg?

No. The Titanic didn't exist. No ship the engineers would call unsinkable could ever sink.

The Titanic didn't sink, it just flew back to its home planet.

Wasn't Titanic some Roman god that the American's stole and claimed as their own?

It did have a 4th stack, but it was only placed there for the grandeur and impressive factor as they wanted it to show off the fact that it was the largest ship ever built upon its completion. It wasn't needed as it could have done just fine with the three stacks. However in the design stage they insisted that it should have 4. I'm not entirely sure if they rerouted some of the exhausts from the boilers to be redirected to make use of the 4th or not, but that's the jest of it.

And yes like what was said, the iceberg pushed very hard on the steel plating which is what tore the rivets.

Not directly. He sent a T-800 back in time to do the job.

So the ships owners were Ricers, before Ricers were Ricers..

They did not. The 4th stack didn't have any smoke.

Last I read the fourth stack was used for storage of deck chairs, tables and other random crap. Probably not the full thing lol

Titanic was a movie, there was no ship or iceberg. Too many people took the blue pill instead or the red one.

NASA devised a strategy to return Titanic to Earth safely after the craft undergoes massive internal damage, putting the lives of the three astronauts on board in jeopardy.

It was a massive coverup, here it is on the Moon as it was photographed in 1974, February 30th

The ocean actually doesnt exsist. it is a hologram projected to hide the vast quantities of Nickle on earth to artificaly drive the price up.

The reactors used to power the hologram are housed in N. Korea and Russia.

True story.

He also made insane money by selling the scraps of the boat. The exterior of the vessel was constructed purely of nickel.

I bet those same two people were also survivors of the Lusitania sinking. Professional actors hired by the government to play victims.

Just like all those Sandy Hook parents.

In this video taken by a survivor, you can see one of the "victims" succumbing to the cold ocean and drowning... yet 13 years later, he is seen again throwing parties in his mansion, under a different name and being a corporate shill...

Lets see.. Titanic was pre World War I, meaning that armor plating especially on passenger vessels probably would not have been used.

So probably not much nickel in the hull, although I could be wrong. The fourth stack could have been filled with gold however, which made it topheavy and was the reason it sunk.

So by that rationale: There was more gold on the Titanic than nickel

The titanic never sank because ice doesn't exist and it's impossible to travel on water. Therefore ZenOps can count to potato.

I'm not entirely making that up:

http://www.cbc.ca/newsblogs/technology/quirks-quarks-blog/2012/04/poor-choice-of-materials-made-titanic-more-vulnerable.html

Cheap Steel rivets are the conclusion of the "experts", cheap meaning of course - low nickel (and low chromium) content.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krupp_armour

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Krupp_cemented_armour

Krupp naval armor was developed in 1893, but it seems - did not make it into the rivets of the Titanic. The hull of the ship was also very thin (built for speed) as noone had even considered the possibility of needing a thick hull to protect against mines and torpedos (pre WWI) Adding a 3.9% nickel mix to the hull of a 46,328 ton ship - would be expensive even today.

Could an iceberg have broken her open? I still have my doubts. But a torpedo or being rammed by Blackbeards ship? Like carving a turkey.

Come on guys, basic science taught us that liquids SINK in water. So how can you have an iceberg float?? Check mate! The "horrible iceberg" myth is just created by Newfie fishermen not wanting competition in their fisheries. Then they needed a monster to solidify it. Ever notice how "Titanic" inspires the same awe as I dunno... Godzilla. :nut:

I wasn't an iceberg that broke the rivets, it was NOS. So many lives lost because the Captain ignored the Danger to Manifold warning :(

Uh Zenops, metallurgy wasn't exactly in its prime when the ship was built. Back then one of the strongest metals they had were what's called HSS, or high speed steel. It's basically composed of steel with a high carbon content of up to .4%. While it still would be quite stronger then typical mild steel today, its nothing in comparison to modern day metals or tempering or hardening techniques now known today. I can assure you there wouldn't be much if any nickel used in the alloys... as it does next to nothing. Other potential alloys would have been vanadium, magnesium, molydebium or chromium infused steel, but a century ago, they didn't know what they were doing too much.

It's easy to say "well they should have done this or that or the other thing". Yeah? Hind sight is 20/20. Technology has evolved immensity over the last 100 years. Yeah they should have done things differently, absolutely. But a century ago they didn't know any better. Besides think about how many thousands and thousands of rivets were needed to build the entire hull and structure of it, as i dont think welding was even around back then.

ZenOps
06-16-2015, 10:02 AM
The rivets might have been made out of wrought iron, which is about as basic as it gets.

Krupp armor, was a german invention - and arguably was not shared with the rest of europe, including the makers of the Titanic.

The titanic was a time machine, and so dangerous we had to send "ice" back in time to sink it. Haven't you noticed they only started building it recently?

The project was so massive that there are reports of workers being sealed under the deck plates.

It was like, "Meh, I'm done for the day, and I'm starving". " I have a potato in my shanty that's just waiting to be relished".
