Ditto. A co-worker went to look at a car, and witnessed one of the salesman back into another car. Two months later he went to look at a different one, and the exact same thing happened :nut:

Maybe we should just start a thread with GOOD used car dealers in Calgary lol... Gonna be a pretty short list though...

For the smaller places, I've had good experience with Calgary Auto Quest, Calgary Auto Connection (owned by the same people if i remember correctly), Car Zone and Southview Motors. I'm sure there's more too haha.

Calgary Auto Quest seriously? Was going to check out an X5 there but was turned off because it was in Forest lawn. Interesting that they have had some good reviews from beyonders..

Yeah, Southview is in Forest Lawn too haha. With Auto Quest, a lot of their vehicles have previous claims/history, but they don't try to hide it and they seem pretty straight up about everything.

The name alone is enough to keep me away. I'd bet the office is painted bright orange and green with $$$ approved signs on the windows.

Funny this thread popped up as I was doing some research on them yesterday. From the pictures on the website it seems that the are in one way or the other related with or are the same as NEX2NEW cars and if I recall correctly that place is a big time red flag zone. Funny enough though, I was looking at Maserati's and on Kijiji it showed up that they had two and there was no mention of them on their website. Perhaps they hadn't updated it yet but either way, will be staying away.

I just purchased a vehicle from these guys and had absolutely no issues. I found them upfront and honest and took care to go over everything in as much detail as I asked.

Car was detailed very nicely for pickup and their mechanics seem honest.

Of all the used car dealerships I've been to, I would put these guys near the very top.

They seem to have a good inventory of German and other high-end vehicles and from what I could tell they take great care of them.

They were easy to negotiate with as well.. took less than 48 hours to close the deal.

I was just trying to put my 2 cents in since every one seemed to have issues with them ... isn't that the point of reviews?

I'm pretty sure there are lots of posts from me which will tell you I don't work at a used car dealership...

I can see based on their staff and the fact that they are located in the NE why people would make certain assumptions about how they work.

I'm giving beyonders a review based on actual experience with them...

Lol, old thread but I worked next door for a year, they bag everything hard while cold even in winter I'll see a car start dead cold and seconds later floored up the road, everything about them is sketchy from their deals to the staff.
we almost bought an suv there and then I changed my mind , glad I did ,
I've used carzone twice in forest lawn for an 04 3 series and 09, they were good , I also used nexgen off 32nd very good also, water pump failed a week later and they paid for it , also noticed 1 tire was shot while 3 were almost brand new so they bought me a brand new one to match (oem BMW Bridgestone runflat)
No questions asked ghetto location but good to deal with
And believe it or not house of cars on Macleod was awesome to deal with for my wife's jeep.
