I think the Fiesta uses the same strut setup as most hatchbacks no?
Take a look at this picture:
http://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0188/8680/products/cambernote_1_large.jpeg?v=1350549333

You need to loosen the lower bolt and the upper bolt will change the camber depending on its position. Most stock camber bolts have a range of +1.75 to -1.75. Mark all the bolt positions with a silver/black sharpie before you start.

I have also see some guys get more camber by loosening the strut mounts. Pushing it all to one side. and retightening. Thus you maximize all the play for the bolt holes.

I would also suggest getting a digital level so you can check the camber. Make sure you do this on as flat a surface as you can find. Preferable shimming you car off the ground with tiles or some thin material to make it perfectly level. Something like this:
http://www.amazon.ca/Machine-DRO-400mm-15-7-Inch-Digital/dp/B00CEY3PD4/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&qid=1434982636&sr=8-5&keywords=digital+level

Next level is to buy a set of track rims and tires. Go shopping for some UTQG tires rate 200 since that is the new minimum for 2015.

I would see you out there to give you some pointers but I dont have a race car anymore :(

Drill out the bolt holes to an oval shape.
Probably not legal either... or safe.

There's gotta be crash bolts for these vehicles.

Damn I miss chasing the last 10th in AutoX. Might try to come out for an event at least once this year in the GLA45.

I think you are confusing the GLA45 with the C63s that was there?? You are talking about the Saturday June 20th event? There was no GLA45 there lol.

I haven't heard much about people running the GLA45 yet. Even tho it's classified as a SUV, it's nowhere close to the SCCA track/height calculations on rollover limit, so it's not excluded unlike the Juke. The GLA on paper should be awesome at AutoX, but will know more after I take delivery and get some time in the drivers seat.

As for the C63, even with my lighter BS, it's way too heavy to be competitive. I ran mine at Rhy's AutoX's a few years ago, both on R tires and street tires, and it felt so slow in transitions. It's not a good AutoX car, but it was fun kicking the ass out everywhere.

I've also noticed that they split classes down between street vs R tires this year in the stock classes? That might get me back into some AutoX'ing, just too much work to be competitive having to deal with R tires. Just wanna go and drive.

The GLA45 has got to be one of the ugliest vehicles Mercedes AMG has ever produced. Was the designer of the Dodge Caliber involved or something?

Yeah, agreed. Although it's good motivation for me!

They changed the name from "Stock" to "Street", and all of the street classes (SS, AS,..HS) must run tires with no less than 200 tread wear rating. Check the car classifications though (Appendix A), since some cars are excluded from the street classes (e.g. Audi R8, GT-R, all MB Black editions, and so on)

The red trim in the grill and wheels is the new edition 1 color scheme. The pic you posted is a CLA45 Edition 1.

Then there's the GLA45 Edition 1:

http://londonmotorcars.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/01/2015-MB-GLA45-AMG-Grey-Edition-003.jpg

And the C63 Edition 1:

If it looked like a car, it's a C63 or CLA45. If it looked like a weird hatchback/crossover mix, it's a GLA45. If the ass looked like a whale melted in a nuclear accident, it's a CLA45. If it's missing the side decals, then it's a C63 (the first batch of Canadian cars all missed the sticker package on delivery).

Yea, already checked the classes. Would be curious how it would compete in SS. Are you guys still using a PAX system to equalize the classes or is everyone just racing within their class?

Definitely a hit or miss. I like how it looks, but I'm a huge hot hatch fan. Although with the Focus RS coming out with similar power it feels like I overpaid for this thing lol.

I doubt I'll be competitive TBH. Just trying to pretend that I'm still a fast driver here. As for tires, the GLA45 is fucked, it uses SUV sizings and yea, there's not a lot of options for performance truck tires.

It was some sort of Mercedes with an AMG badge. The only thing that suck out to me was the red paint on the inside lip of the grill and a thin red ring around the rims.

The grill was like this:

I swear this is what I thought I saw, haha

Yup that was the c63s. It's an edition 1. Only 20 in Canada or something. That's why the grill was red. I had a ride in it it is beast!

We still use PAX for the championship; there just aren't enough cars in each class to move to a class-only scoring syste, There was one person running in SS at the last event (Jim W). He placed 4th in RAW time, and 4th in PAX time.
