Am about to buy some used tires.. Help

Hey guys, what should I look for when buying used tires?

i'd look for:
patches/plugs
even wear (the tires themselves, and comparing them to each other)
sidewall damage
tread life
check retail pricing on that specific model and size

but you still run the risk of sidewall bulges since those wont be apparent till you have them mounted and filled

Most common thing is punctures I think... Stick your head through and look all around inside for patches out even nails already in there...

Learn how the date stamps work and check it.

I bought a set once with a ton of tread left, but they were 8 years old :( Had to replace them right away. Luckily it was mostly the wheels I was after.
