2014 Honda Civic Break in Glass replacement

Hi Guys, I had a friend have his 2014 Honda Civic 4 door broken into last night and they smashed the passenger side rear glass in.

Can you guys tell me where you would recommend to have this glass replaced? He is trying to figure out what it will cost and if an insurance claim is going to be worthwhile or not?

Any idea what this will cost in materials and labour?

Prob not worth getting insurance involved, I would guess ~$200-300 to replace. Call various glass places, I took my old civic to Apple and they vacuumed the shit out of my car when someone smashed out the driverside window....during winter :banghead:

For a Honda you are pretty flexible with going with aftermarket glass which is good. We always went to boyd on edmonton trail near 32nd ave North. They always did a good job and were very reasonable.

Had the glass on our fit replaced twice and once on our Odyssey.
