Does anyone have the 5th gen Prelude auto tensioner tool? The tool that hold the tensioner compressed so it can be remounted to the engine

Before anyone mentions it, I'm aware of of the manual tensioner swap the internets has recommended. What the fail to mention is that the 00-01 model has a revised auto tensioner...

blah blah blah, I'm want to reuse my autotensioner.
I've tried using zip ties, but having a bitch of time getting it to stay on.

I realize you want to reuse your auto-tensioner and best of luck, just an FYI that although they may have been "revised" I still had two of them go on my 2000 Prelude, just caught them with good timing of monitoring and nothing bad happened.

The 4th Gen swap was worth the bit of effort. :)

I believe kaizenspeed has a replacement for this. Their version appears to be good

Yeah, I have also had an engine failure due to a re-used tensioner, go with the Kaizenspeed unit!
