I've had it in the closet for a few years now and know nothing about it - got it from a coworker when he moved out of the country. Only real identifying feature is it says "Bear Hunter" on both limbs.

All you really need to know about it is marked on the limb. It's an older (80's-90's) round-wheel compound, it's got a 68lb draw weight and what looks to say a 30" draw length. If you have a 30" draw length, you're pretty well good to go if you get some arrows of the correct length and spine stiffness.

It's not a name-brand bow, it's probably worth twenty bucks or so, but if you take it to a pro shop (I recommend Jim Bows) they can give it a once-over and tell you if it's safe to shoot and whether it can be adjusted to your draw length, whatever it may be.

Damn...I was thinking it might be a Bear Archery and possibly worth enough to sell. Guess not :banghead:

Well, the limb sticker says "Bear Archery" but there's none of the usual Bear logos or branding so I remain a bit suspicious. Even if it is a genuine Bear... it's still probably only worth 20-40 bucks or so. Bear recurves and longbows hold their value, but the oldish compound stuff really doesn't have any collectors to speak of and the new bows are just so much better in terms of performance that old compounds are pretty much just considered obsolete.
