Crazy. I was just there last week. Must've been one hell of a pool party..

The roof, the roof, the roof is on fire... oh wait.

I'm thinking if there is any town where a sense of humour like that would fly, Vegas is it.

50/50 English and Mandarin with accent from Taiwan.

In all seriousness I don't know how fast people would be able to evacuate from Vegas casinos. There are't many exits and they're so hard to spot because the floor is huge and designed to keep you in.

I had read on reddit that hardly anybody in the casino had a clue what was going on. No alarms, nothing. Although it was an exterior fire, you'd think that they would evacuate the building at least?

I'm assuming the fire separations incorporated in that level of construction would be significant. I would think that evacuating/raising the alarm prematurely would likely cause a lot more panic and potential for injury etc. than not. :dunno:

From what I've read there's also a lot of pissed off residents who said there wasn't any news coverage of the event. Basically accusing the local media of being in the casino's pocket.
