Looking for a new car at the moment, something that is for everyday use/driving.

My three options are

Porsche panamera 4 2010+
Cl550 4matic 2012
cls550 4matic 2012

Which will hold their value more? and which is more reliable on the long run?

Will be keeping this car for 3 years atleast

I genuinely miss my CLS550. I might feel 10 (20) years older driving that car, but damn is it ever comfy, fast, and decent handling.

Porsche will probably hold the best value, but for the price, 300hp... meh. CL550 will lose the most money. Not even a competition.

They're probably all about the same in reliability. I didn't have any probs with my CLS550 in 3 years of ownership.

Yeah I know 300hp isn enough since I just came from a m3 and GTR
4S is out of my price range.

So you prefer cls than the cl?

Plus you can't pass anyone on the highway in BC with a measley 300hp.

2 totally different cars. The CLS handles better and seats 4 adults better. 4 doors.

Especially in the mountains going uphill. That NA engine you'll be struggling with 200whp at higher elevations.

only experience with the P4 out of your list. Absolutely amazing in the winter/snow, only thing that's been comparable was an X5M on winter tires going through the mountains. amaze.

I haven't driven the Panamera but from everyone I've talked to, it's a whole different ballgame when it comes to handling. It's too bad that it's so much more expensive at comparable trim levels to its competition (cls, A7).

As for the CLS in winter, it was a tank. Invincible with winter tires. Only complaint is that I couldn't fully disable traction control, so it's not the greatest winter drifter.
