I am posting this for a friend.

We would like to invite Calgarians to participate in an online survey for a Calgary night market next summer. If you are interested, please click on the link below. Your feedback would be much appreciated, thanks!

The University of Calgary had several clubs host one recently (one night only). Maybe you can check out with them how that went to gauge interest??

Submitted. Here was my response to the last question:

While I do agree Night Markets are huge successes worldwide, and even closer to home in Vancouver, Calgary's night life in general just isn't there...yet. I'd love to see a Calgary Asian Night Market but realistically, I think it would only see success once the city itself sees more night life outside of just clubs & bars.

We can hardly get a decent Asian restaurants in this city. If there was a night market it would be overpriced and quality would be disappointing. Just look at Taste of Calgary...

Wouldn't that kinda be the role of the New Horizon mall in Balzac

I'd love to browse hundreds of different cell phone case booths.

If Richmond's and Mississauga's night market any indication, it's 90% food now.

That's the only thing you can't order from eBay or Aliexpress.

Night Market may work in Calgary as you can see Taste of Calgary, Japanese Festival and all those seems to be doing ok every year even though they all sell the same crap year after year. But you will be definitely fighting for event space and time slot in Calgary's short summer.

I hope the food court has night market type food and not filled with white-washed type food you find in typical malls.
