I actually held back. Still have a copy of it. Glad I didn't read it after it was announced last year!

Yeah I downloaded after you posted that link last year but didn't want to read it just in case haha! Not because I thought he'd make the movie, but cause he'd take parts of the script and put it into future films

I thought it was an interesting film to say the least. Not really my style but good actors and some good ol fashioned womanizing and swearing.

I loved it. Classic Tarantino

Probably my least favorite Tarantino movie, but still worth a watch IMO.

Thought it was pretty shit. Violence for violence's sake with a contrived story that just seems there to justify violence. IHMO tarantino has really gone down hill. This film makes Kill Bill look like an intellectual masterpiece.

Haven't seen it yet but I'm disappointed Christoph Waltz isn't in it. He was by far the best part of Django and Inglorious Bastards IMHO.

for those who don't want to pay, a screener leaked and is on torrents, same with reverant

heard it's not as good as previous tarantino movies (Django and Inglorious) so maybe I'll just wait for this on BluRay plus I heard it's 3 hours long?
Surprisiling buddy said Reverant was good so maybe I'll check that one instead

Is the Revenant out yet or did your buddy catch a pre-screening?

The leaked versions are all garbage quality, if you care about that sort of thing don't bother. I didn't even try.

Don't wanna ruin it for anyone...
Your typical Tarantino movie, 2.5 hours of talking leading to about 10 min of "action" and blowing heads off. Awful.

Wrong in this case. Both Hateful Eight and Revenant got leaked, and the versions are quite good (DVD screeners I think).
I thought Revenant was even worse...

That's what I mean, DVD quality or less (I.e. crappy). None of the leaks were 1080P with proper multi-channel audio as far as I know.
Revenant gets great reviews though, thanks for putting me on to that. I assume that's the one DiCaprio was filming out in Canmore and Fortress for so long. Doesn't sound like anyone here liked it too much though haha.
