Office 2013 Issue

So, When I went to use powerpoint and word yesterday the software would hang after one or two keystrokes. I figured it may be an update issue or something so I updated windows. After that office was gone from my program list so I couldn't even uninstall it. Went on the website and MS had a debug tool to remove it which I did, but i still can't reinstall error code 0-1018 or something similiar.

tried disabling firewall and AV to no avail.

Any help is appreciated.

Did you check to see if there are any data folders for office that may reside on your machine under the Windows folder or even Appdata that contain cached data?

Have you tried repairing the installation?

Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Programs and Features -> MS Office 2013 -> Change -> Repair
