Hahaha, no kidding!

Scooter is quite a bit more instense than the new Basement Jaxx stuff, not sure if I would agree with that suggestion

Not even in the same league! Vengaboys is up there with Aqua and all that other poppy electronic music from the late 90s

Yeah scooter is a bit more intense. Scooter/lisa lashes/rachel auborn were a few of my favorites when raving in the 90's but so was basement jaxx. Preference to anything hard... even happy hardcore lol.

Rendez vu or Redd Alert were 2 of my favorite and of course where's your head at that was already suggested. I wouldn't have recognized the first song posted by Dave as basement Jaxx. I did not enjoy it.. the second wasn't as bad but not quite what I'm used to with them.

I cant seem to post red alertt or rendez vu videos but they are completely different then the ones dave posted. Definitely worth listening to.

I believe they started out as Big Beat genre pioneers which was dance music with kind of rock influenced sound, chemical brothers, prodigy (smack my bitch up!!) and moved into some more mainstream house music....
