Can someone help me ID this bug?

Anyone know what these little guys are called? Have come across a few of theses in my hotel recently and was curious.

Its about 1 cm in length
Has two front "antennas"
A shiny shell that's brown and clear along the edges

I think woodlouse and i remember them from grade 9 science school on afield trip.
Harmless and edible you generally eat them when sleeping and snoring. Good luck to you sir.

Identical looking, but one can ball up and the other can't.

They are crustaceans so there is a chance that they taste like lobsters.
