Morning,

In the last few months I have become a very big fan of old school wet shaving with a double edged safety razor. If you haven’t tried it I highly suggest it!

I currently use a Edwin Jagger De89 Razor, Edwin Jagger Bagger Brush, and either taylor of old bond street shaving cream or Proraso Shaving soap. You won’t have a better shave and your face feels amazing after!

Normally i order my supplies off of West Coast Shaving.com. To you other wet shavers out there; Where do you get your supplies? It would be nice to find a local shop in Calgary with a big selection so i can stop paying for pour exchange and shipping.

How does this compare to say, shaving with a mach 3?

You're a bit late to the party. Pretty good discussion in this thread Old School Shave Supplies (http://forums.beyond.ca/st/259370/old-school-shave-supplies-/)

I went from a Mach 3 to this. I promise you will never go back. It takes a little more time because you do 2 or 3 passes depending on your facial hair. I find it very relaxing and almost a Zen like experience if that makes sense lol. I no longer get ingrown hairs on my neck and zero irritation. Plus the soaps or creams are far superior to those in a can.

Kent probably has the biggest selection and best service in Calgary for wet shaving. The prices are typically a bit higher than ordering online though.

I'm guessing this was accidentally locked.
