I've had good results with my OBDlink lx. Only used it with the torque app though. http://www.obdlink.com/lxbt/

Ya you can buy these dongles from China for a few bucks. There's many apps that will work with them. Been around for years.

Bluetooth OBDII and Torque are two of the most common setups for phones and cars these days.

VCDS cables are cheap if you buy knockoffs. I got mine off kijiji for $70.

Bump for relevance

Sugarphreak, can obdeleven do module activation? I need to do some coding to add a Hitch to a Q5. I have been reading it does, but i want to double check before pulling the trigger.
