where can i find a 4.11 posi rearend?

can a normal rearend be redone to accept a posi track rearend?

You can try the wrecking yard or buy a brand new
unit. I've know a few wrecking yards that have
parts interchange manuals. The interchange manuals
will tell what other vehicles you can get parts
out of that will fit your particular car.

As for buying a new unit, it certainly costs more
but you knowing what you're getting in terms
of ratio and condition. I'm actually just in the
process of swapping out my limited slip unit for
a Torsen. I'll also be performing a gear change.
All in all I ended up paying about $1020.00 ($650
for the diff and $370 for the gears).
