Just to gauge how people actually voted, I thought this would be a valid tool for those of us who voted in the early polling.

Not like any of the parties have made any compelling changes in the last 2 months. Just the same attack ads spouting the same rhetoric that we have been hearing for the last 4 years.

Up 90% from 2008 and 16% from 2011.
I am assuming it's mostly people with Harper Derangement Syndrome. :nut:
I predict a Liberal majority. :banghead:

This could actually happen. Even in this new beyond poll it's 50/50 Libs/Cons, which is a big shift from the last poll where it was 2:1 Cons:Libs, and against the 'norm' of beyond.

What the hell happened in the last two weeks?

I voted Conservatives.

Although I would be okay with a Liberal & Conservative Coalition.

The part where you seem to think two diametrically opposed parties would ever form a coalition.

:nut:

Liberal and NDP could happen due to relative (even that word is a stretch) platform similarity.

Considering the Liberals platform is "we aren't the conservatives" that kindof grinds against partnering with them.

You only ever form a coalition to prevent control by another party, which would be the NDP in the case of a liberal-conservative coalition. However as it stands the NDP have near no chance of gaining control at this point.

Also an extra lul at Mibz prediction coming true after people voted in the poll overnight.

Hence why I said I would be okay with that because I think a coalition between them would be nice. Did I ever once say that it was going to happen?

It would also "be nice" if Canada invented a money tree and we could all drive around like Saudi princes in lamborghinis and paganis.

However that is highly unlikely, just like it is far more likely in the event of a significant NDP prescense in parliament that if any coalitions were to be formed it would be between the Liberals and the NDP. You know, the people who by and large agree with each other on federal policy.

I guess you are right though maybe we will elect a wild rose bloc coalition this year :dunno:

The mere suggestion was enough to spur fierce critique from killy. This thread is going to be excellent.

Justin said he's open to a coalition with the NDP, but not with Mulcair in charge.

The video, straight from Mulcair:

The liberals and the NDP trying to one up each other for 4 years on how they can raise taxes more and who can provide more funding for social services?

Yea there isn't enough tums in the world to quell my heartburn from that concept.
