Paid subscription for Youtube without ads. Download videos to your device for offline viewing and background viewing. Free membership to Google Music so it's basically a 2 for 1 deal.

Who's gonna give it a try? (Assuming it's available in Canada)

I don't think I would pay for that. Youtube has some of the least intrusive ads, or at least I am not bothered by them.

Everybody should do themselfs a favor and download Ad Blocker Plus for whatever browers you're using. It's completely free, and no more ads. On any website. Ever.

I pay for Google Music so just an added feature. I'm on Youtube quite often and don't really mind the ads.

Adblock takes care of the ads on Youtube with Firefox. Wish there was something similar for mobile devices

I already use Adblock but I think there's still a lot of value to the paid service. For long trips you could download your entire list of 'Watch Later' vids to catch up on the plane or wherever. Or just sync your youtube subscriptions to download automatically so you can watch them on a WiFi only tablet while on transit. There will also be premium content only available thru the service.

If you are already paying for google music it is included making it free.:dunno:

I think I probably watch enough youtube that I would buy it, but since I subscribe to google play all access hopefully it is free here too.

Google Music is pointless for me so I won't subscribe. I watch plenty of Youtube but use an ad blocker and very RARELY do I ever see ads.

:dunno:

I already pay $90 for my internet and $10 for my Netflix... Why pay even more?

I use "AdBlock" and nearly half of youtubes videos start with a 5 or 30 second ad. Kinda sucks.

You're doing it wrong then. Check to see if it installed properly on whichever browser you're using.

People watched my videos for 13 million minutes in the last 28 days. That's 25 years straight.

You should read the latest news about Adblock. The way they are making money is because they have a list of 50 - 100 ads that are allowed to be excluded from the block as long as they pay Adblock a certain amount of money per month.

As far as youtube red, I wonder if me as a google music subscriber will just get this as well.

So don't update to the latest version? Doesn't this go against everything Adblocker is supposed to do...it's like an anti-virus letting some viruses thru. People will just switch to another Adblock program. :thumbsdow

Not only will they switch, but in one way or another, they will pay for it.

Antivirus programs are just a small part of the scam, adblockers are up to bat.
