Description:

Up for sale is my Stage 2+ 2011 Subaru STI built by COBB Surgeline.

The car is a blast to drive and has been extremely reliable. I’m looking to move on because my life is demanding a different vehicle than what I wanted 2 years ago.

In my opinion I have tastefully modified this car with the goal primarily being performance while keeping aesthetic upgrades to a minimum. I wanted the best possible people to perform all work on the car without any exceptions.

Key points:

- The car has been Stage 2+ (stock turbo) for 40,000km with all mechanical work and tuning being done by COBB Surgeline (Portland, OR)
- Car made 305whp/315wtq @ 17psi on Shell 91 tuned by COBB Surgeline in Portland, OR (sea level)
- Car made 285whp/295wtq @ 17psi on Husky 94 tuned by Sunny at VEX Performance in Calgary, AB (higher altitude)
- Recently underwent a re-tune by Sunny at VEX Performance for Husky 94 gas (car originally was tuned on Shell 91).
- Replaced rotors and brake pads with Stoptech kit at 70,000km
- Engine has been extremely reliable and has never produced significant knock events or experienced engine timing retardation (DAM falling below 1.0). The tunes I’ve run are all solid. I always fill with Husky 94 when in Alberta, Chevron 94 when in BC, Shell 91 at worst in Canada, and Shell 92 in the US. I consistently watch my Accessport to ensure there are no issues.
- I am the second owner of the car, purchased at 22,000km in Vancouver, BC (no salt!)
- BC registered, but presently located in Calgary, AB (I am willing to show the car elsewhere if you are serious).
- Religious oil changes every 5,000km with Shell Rotella T6 5w-40
- Had oil tested for metal content at ~70,000km (through Metro Tech Systems in Calgary) and no signs of internal problems were found
- At least half of the mileage I’ve put on the car (~30,000km) has been simple highway cruising. I go on a lot of road trips between BC and AB as well as south of the border.
- The car was in a minor cosmetic accident. It was hit in a parking lot and the left rear quarter panel was dented (I was not at fault). Fix auto south central pulled the dent, repainted the quarter panel, paint blended the rear door and connecting trim piece and applied new 3m. I can’t tell the difference and I’m anal retentive about my cars.
- I have only hand washed or wand-washed this car. I've never used the "foam brush" and the paint is in great condition as a result.
- I have all receipts for mechanical/tuning work done on the car. I've spent over $17,000 in parts and labor.
- The car is ready to go for a turbo upgrade (with the help of a turbo inlet hose and an intercooler), and built internals, which was my original plan.
