I've seen threads like this on other forums and I thought Beyond should have one.

Whether it be an oil change, performance modification or just a wash, tell us what you did to your car today.

I installed a Blue Sea aux fuse panel and heated seat pads today. It was my first time messing with upholstery and it went pretty well. I cut the hog rings with side cutters and replaced them with zip ties which made putting things back together far easier.

I cursed swore and asked myself where the coolant leak was ;)

Tomorrow maybe if time allows I'll figure out where from...

I drifted a turnoff nicely in an AWD car. Winter tires FTW.

Switched over to my winters today, not excited for the first time I punch it and forget there's less traction.

Same here. It's supposed to be a mild/dry winter for the prairies, and with the weather we've been having, I don't want to burn off the blizzaks. Have brand new all seasons on, gonna see if i can hold until either an actually full blown snowfall or december.

Other than that, cleaned up the garage today and booted around with the truck. Cleaned her up at the wash was all I did with the truck. SUV sat around looking pretty.

So... Just mark me down for "nothing" for the time being I wanted to do this too haha, but I don't want to end up having to swap my tires when we get a sudden blizzard or cold snap since I'm doing it outside in my driveway. If I parked in a garage I'd do it the night before it starts getting seriously cold or snowy.

Swapped winters... couldn't do the truck, yet, cause realized old neighbour kept the larger 22mm socket for his SUV.

Nothing because I did my wheel swap last weekend. Also cleaned my hubs of corrosion applied anti seize and set tire pressures. Torqued them to spec but while i had the wheels off I serviced/inspected my brakes to make sure they were in good order. Since I had the car In the air I drained the oil, it was before my usual oil change interval so I left the old filter. Refilled with new oil and checked the level. Road tested and It was brilliant. Then I vacuumed inside and cleaned the exterior

Changed to winters on my wife's Outback, took my Mustang for what was supposed to be it's last ride. Then the rain yesterday prevent me from washing the car so I'll be looking for one last nice day to drive, fill with gas, wash and wax and put away.

I spent the day yesterday installing a double sheer shift rod (DSSR) in the M3. What a pain that was! My arms look like I've been doing kinky bondage things with all the scrapes and bruises around my wrists. The shifter does feel like it has less play and the shifts feel more solid now.

Mines far overdue, but I just can't justify a new one when I know it'll get a crack my first trip out to BC this winter. I'm going to get one in the spring once the rocks are cleared off the road.

My radiator developed a pinhole leak, so I put a new one in a few days ago. Installing a radiator in driveway at night using work lights during a snow storm after a ten hour shift is not something I recommend.

Also, a shout out to Sunridge Nissan. They quoted me $290 for a radiator over the phone, but when my girlfriend went to pick it up, they knocked $60 off the price.

I also installed an UltraGauge to monitor engine temperature. It also has a bunch of other slick little features like fuel economy and the ability to set audible alarms.

On another note, does anyone with a heated garage want to be my friend? :D

VNT actuator adjustment messed up.

Vanes clogged with carbon.

Repaired both issues.

Wasn't as much of a PITA as I thought it would be.

Decided to make block heater plug-in a little cleaner. I hate seeing the cord, and the plug always gets covered in filth. Fortunately I have a front hitch receiver that doesn't get used at all in the winter.

Now I just need to googley eyes to cover those front plate holes .

Bonus points that I'll never rip the block cord apart if I forget to unplug it, and the cord will never drag itself to death on the road.
