Uh no, please no.

The abrams ST may have made decent popcorn flick fare, but that was not star trek. Not really. He improved on some things, but overall missed the mark, particularly with the 2nd film.

I agree that Enterprise was a poor imitation of previous series. But Next Generation is still the gold standard they should be measuring against, IMHO.

Well, it's all subjective.

For example, Voyager was my favorite ST series, and DS9 was my least favorite. Although DS9's Ferengi based episodes cracked me up. Those episodes were refreshing, as humor isn't normally part of ST.
