Issues With Pioneer Elite VSX-31 - Lost Remote

Hey All.

So I have a Pioneer Elite VSX-31 as my audio receiver for my home theatre system. The problem is I am having issues with it and I have lost the remote for it so I can't tune it properly.

Anyone have any suggestions outside of buying a new remote? I looked online and could only find one for about $55 :( Little too steep for me prior to trying other methods.

You could borrow a Harmony remote from someone, since you can just download all the codes from Logitech. This will be the easiest.

Other model Pioneer Elite remotes might work (not sure on this one, only basic commands may work like volume).

A learning remote that lets you punch in codes (rather than using another remote to 'learn' from) may also work.
