Quick insurance question..

Someone backed into my front bumper...and he wants to go thourgh the insurance instead of pay me cash...
so...can I choose any Autobody shop I want ??
I am with HSBC Canadian Direct...

ya it is best to go to a bunch of different shops though, and get some quotes...then when you go and see your insurance company, you can tell them what you found.....

Maybe the dude will change to cash instead when he realizes its not worth going thru insurance...cuz I'm sure fixing the bumper will cost from $500-1000?And it would be more in premiums and everything if he went to insruance
