Busted one leaf on my 99 Yukon and I'm not a fan of working on rusty springs. Wondering who you'd recommend to change out the springs?

The rear end sags so I'd probably need new on both sides to get the lift back.

^ yeah the 32nd ave NE location he means, right beside Shell just east of 12th Street NE. Ravi is hard to beat, it's an awesome shop that has helped gobs of beyond members with a wide variety of things. 5 stars everytime :)
Very reasonable too

Edit: these guys, top result.

Just go directly to Standen's.

When I had my rear leaf springs replaced on my C20 about 8 years ago, every shop I called added on their usual markup for the materials, plus their labour, and they told me they were going to get the springs from Standen's anyway.

I saved $150 compared to what most other shops quoted for the same job and parts.

I thought Standen's didn't do actual spring replacement, just sales?

For anyone else curious, these guys quoted $700 for parts and $1100 for parts and labor.

Probably going to end up doing it myself as I can get two sets of springs off ebay for about $400 CDN

I order from them pretty regularly, whatever they quote for shipping is all you pay. Parts show up with no surprise duties or brokerage costs.

Unless I'm reading that site wrong, that's $309 per side. So with shipping to my location in northern AB that's $846 CDN. Ouch.

^ specifying that you were in northern Alberta probably would have helped immensily in answering your initial questions as to where to go to get this done. ;)

I bought springs for my Ranger from A-1 Parts for Less in NE Calgary, and swapped them myself. They were under $200 for both from a 2008 model. Take a look at car-part.com for nearby wrecking yards
