It always left me curious, to a point even 10 years ago our company would get mail for not having a "flash website"

It was always slow, by passed proxy settings and had other security risks.

Thank of the global carbon foot reduction as CPUs will idle much lower.

Firefox disables flash on default

For google chrome go to
chrome://plugins and click disable flash

Its sort of weird I can use my P4 computer again to browse the internet

Flash has needed to be EOL for years. People don't realize things like Youtube and such if done properly run in HTML5 without issues.

One issue of flash most people don't know about either its its P2P sharing.

It was an appalling piece of software. Java is right up there as well.

Fake Java and Flash updates are one of the leading causes of infections (if not the leading).

If one of my customers require either, I just let them know to only update these when the update message appears on the Desktop, and never when on the internet. More specifically, I tell them to close out any message they see on the net that say's, "You need (whatever)".

Don't use Flash anymore, use Animate!

(Animate is just a renamed version of Flash)

Well played Adobe.
