Please advice on lean/accident check on car.

I'm planning to buy this used car. Could you please advice me how to do a check (besides lean check) on a used car to see if it has been in accident/problem on a car ? Is there other check that I have to do? Where can I go to?

I'm in Calgary, Alberta.

get the VIN of the car and do a carfax report. They have the history of any major accidents of the car.

I'm not sure if you can find out accident's, but the registrie offices will let you know if the car has been written off, or have leans.

Also, for the carfax, if anybody still have access to carfax, can you please check it for me? Please let me know.
