View Full Version : Lower Body Exercise help (Torn Hamstring)

I tore my hamstring just over a month ago playing hockey and am looking for a little bit of help with some lower body exercises I can do that won't exacerbate the problem. I am currently seeing a physiotherapist, but she has only given me stretches.

I hate seeing all lower body progress dwindle like it has, so I would like to if possible maintain some glute/ quad strength.

Any recommendations?

If you physiotherapist hasn't given you any strengthening exercises, then a) you may not be ready to do strengthening exercises or b) you have a shitty physiotherapist.

First step is to talk to your physio.
