I've got a nice matching pair of lamps here, one has started flickering and the other simply doesn't work. The tops on them never really stayed in place so I'm thinking an electrical connection inside them has come loose. I've got both of em unplugged so they don't spark and melt down or some shit and have to get out of bed to turn the overhead light off... annoying

I don't feel like spending money on a new pair of lamps. Is there a place/guy in Calgary that could take them apart and fix them up so they are solid again?

I did google electronics repair but most companies seem more for servicing home theater stuff

When I was in Cartwright looking at lighting I got talking to the sales guy and he mentioned that they repair fixtures. You can always try giving them a call.

It really should be an easy DIY, google/youtube should have some techniques.
