I'm taking a vacation from Poker, things haven't been going exactly well haha and my buddy still owes me $500!! I would ask him for it but he has no job and continues to lose:(

5/10 with kill is a good game but I hate getting rivered in games like Omaha so when I feel like it, I'm going to go down to Elbow and play pot limit. Let's see if those motherfcukers still want to chase the river with my nuts on the turn! haha:guns: :guns: :guns:

Here's a story of crappy luck when I played at the casino in WEM on Saturday.

Playing 3/6 Hold'em. Full table (10 players). I get dealt pocket aces. So obviously, I'm just pumping it. Person before me bets out, I raise, anold man calls and the original bettor calls.

Flop comes up A-Q-2. I flop the set of aces. First player bets, I raise, Old man raises and I re-raise. The guy before me calls all the way.

Turn pops up an 8 for A-Q-2-8. At this point, the straight is a concern, but the possibility of a runner-runner didn't scare me. First person checks, I bet, they both call.

And on the river, the 9 comes out leaving A-Q-2-8-9. Now the straight is bothering me. First person checks, I check, old man bets. We both call.

The Old man shows his 10-J. Giving him the straight, the guy before me shows A-A. While I show the A-A-A.

I end up getting nailed on the runner runner straight. Losing quite a bit of money in a hand, that I felt should have been mine. Everyone at the table is completely amazed that the old man stayed all the way chasing a straight.

I think I played that hand fine. The way the guy ahead of me bet, I figured to have flopped a pair. The old man, I had a tougher time pinning him on a hand. The thought of him chasing that straight didn't cross my mind until the river.

The only way to prevent that from happening is to bet him out and hope it's enough. You can lose big dollars though if he calls chasing the straight...
