You can and you do all the time. There's quite a bit of humidity in the air. Too much of it will kill you though, just like anything.

when I was in High School, there was some guy from the year prior to my Chem 20 year who went to the city's annual science fair and did the SAME type of thing!

He had a whole booth set up about the dangers of dihydrogen monoxide AND was getting people to sign petitions to ban the substance that "played a large part in the formation of acid rain"...
I think he got over 200 signatures and 1st place for his science fair project lol.

Americans aren't the only dumb people... :thumbsdow
altho they do take the cake when it comes to it.. :rofl:
