Civic EXTREME!!!!

Just another street encounter I came across while keeping my camera in the car for when I find the wheelchair lady.

This one involved a modest Civic coupe, taken to the EXTREME! Now the car in my opinion wasn't too bad at all. The tails were a lot nicer than most aftermarket ones I've seen on civics, exhaust isn't too bad, and the rims were alright. But what made this worthy of beyond was the "EXTREME" decal right below the "CIVIC" badge:D (look closely) Now for all I know, the girl driving might have had some "extreme" performance mods under the hood, but that's unlikely, so I'm left wondering what does make this car "extreme". :dunno:

In fact the decal looks familiar to the badges for the chevy xtreme s-10. Anyways, just thought I'd share this extreme experience with you all.

cmon guys anything with "aftermarket" factory parts in it is dubbed extreme by the companies because ya know it makes it look all hardcore and extreme like the authentic "Extreme" civics you see on the road without facotry work. :rolleyes:

I saw a brand new civic at the stealership going for 32000 with "mods". Somehow I don't think the exhaust, intake and wheels cost 10000. Maybe the "extreme" sticker makes the difference in price...

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but factory placement of the factory badge is on the right side of the trunk lid. So I'm assuming the owner moved the Civic badge and added the extreme.

Jeff you NEED the rivets, cause if you didnt have them...when that go pedal is slammed the lights fly out due to the g-force of acceleration...

that is an "EXTREME" psport package that they sell at T&T honda.

They get 15" ADR wheel, and all sorts ofcheap parts and sellt he car for a LOT more.

No performance what so ever. just a cheap vibrant tip.

I actually saw this car with my very own eyes today,

It was very extreme....but yeah I dunno why its so extreme..just has a stainless steel tip and rivetted Altezzas lol....

Okay this is even weirder,

I was driving along 56 St NE today, and saw a 2001 Blue Civic, with all the same modifications as the "Extreme Civic"...with the rivetted altezzas and ADR rims and stainless steel exhaust tip but this one had a spoiler and instead of the decal Extreme..

This one had the decal "Lightning" so how many packages did Honda come up with?

The question is are they flush mounted rivets or just regular rivets? Flush mounted rivets reduces drag by 30% which means 30 more hp is my calculations are right.

it reminds me of this white civic i saw with the same tail lights and no other mod with a huge STRICTLY PERFORMANCE sticker on it :nut: However i dont mind those lights, and they actually looked damn good on a white car.

I started laughin my ass off when that Civic was behind me high beaming me and revvin his engine, and then when he changed lanes and and got ahead , I laughed even more when I saw those mirrors..
