Description :
Looking to sell my 1995 Nissan 240sx. I use the car every day to get back and forth, but I will need a truck for the summer and only need one vehicle. This is a pretty hard to find example of an S14, the only aftermarket parts on the entire car are the cold air intake and the stereo. I purchased the car in the summer from a retired gentleman in BC and he maintained it very well. It's been a great car, hasn't let me down, and it's great on fuel. I had great plans for it, but I'm going to be in university for another two years, and I don't want to just have it sit.
Pros:
- Fully loaded with every option; VLSD, leather, sunroof, A/C blows cold
- "rare" Navan front bumper
- New fuel pump (old one was whining, so I replaced it)
- New radiator (old one was sweating coolant)
- Snow tires
- Car is relatively rust free, except for two small spots
- Frame has zero rust anywhere, verified by recent Out of Province Inspection
- Brand new windshield
The Cons:
- Two spots of rust (right rear wheel well, driver's side rocker panel)
- Leather has separated at the seams on the front seats
- Bumper is painted black, hood is plastidipped black
- Steering wheel is a little worn
- Cruise control only works sometimes, I think the servo is acting up
I'm sure you're aware a clean S14 is hard to find, and if you can find one they're asking over almost double this. I feel this is a fair price considering all it needs is two spots of rust fixed, a paint job, and it will easily be one of the cleanest S14's around.
The Out of Province Inspection is notoriously strict, and it passed without issue. The mechanic that performed it even complimented it on it's clean underside. I will include a copy of this and the recent Carfax from this summer when I bought it. As to why the bumper and hood don't match, the previous owner was backed into by a truck, so I replaced them with JDM parts. I can provide a picture of the damage before I fixed it to show it wasn't serious.
