Hey guys,

I'm looking at the possibility of getting a Surface Pro and using it as my home PC. I'll be using it on an adjustable sit/stand desk so the minimalism and portability of the unit is attractive to me. Planning to have it hooked up to 3 monitors too. Plus external keyboard, mouse, speakers/headphones.

Anyone have experience doing something like this? I basically want it to replace my PC (and be an upgrade for it, it's 4 years old now). Generally it will be used to work from home and play the occasional not-graphics-intensive games like Diablo, SC2, League of Legends, HoTS, etc.

Can the Surface Pro keep up with these demands?

Benchmark you desktop and compare it to the surface.

The surface is a dual core. Most desktops are quad.

Graphically, the SP4 is really good. CPU will depend on the model you get.
