Didn't see this posted. Anyone else see this? Given how shitty Edmontons roads are everytime I'm up there this might be really nice to see happen.

Pretty cool feature, but I am guessing you have to get fully loaded (Real, not inrich) to get that and then you are looking at a $40k+ fusion.

I am assuming it'll have some kind of electronic assisted suspension so the damper will not decompress as much.

I was expecting to see the car dodge potholes :banghead:

It has "continuously controlled damping suspension".
I've only seen the mention of this option for the sport. The sport model apparently starts at 34 350 and the platinum starts at 37 495?

The 2017 sport actually looks pretty impressive on paper, some nice features and an ecoboost v6 325/350 which powers all 4 wheels. Have only seen automatic trans mentioned though. Sort of an ST/RS version of the fusion, but ford decided it didn't deserve those badges.

Still not totally in love with the appearance.

Correct, this technology is only useful for human drivers who will make at least one mistake in their life - so it's useless on Beyond :D

Good luck with that in cities like Edmonton or Winnipeg

A year in Calgary would probably wear the system right out haha.

They went over that pothole super fast. Look at how much the tire decompresses on the other side! Bent rim for sure if they keep that up. Wonder how it does at a slower speed? Probably doesn't.

That's exactly what I thought when I watched it, the wheel still hit plenty hard and the pothole wasn't even deep.

Well, I see I'm not the only one that was completely underwhelmed by the demo. Heck, the hit and decompression on the other side seemed the same in both scenarios.
