Anyone familiar with this phone? Apparently it was a Kickstarter project that was highly successful and now they are going into production.

The phone is unique looking but features a 100GB of free cloud storage that automatically stores your used data/app on it and brings it back when you want it.

Interesting concept and all that even though I am mostly only fascinated with the design and I am torn if I should get one or not. The price is very reasonable $399 has 3GB RAM, 13mp camera etc. If it wasn't for our shitty exchange rates right now I would have already one.

Canadian it ends up a little under $600 which isn't cheap.

I have a hard time with the idea of trusting my data with some new fledgling company that has no track record, regardless of how good it sounds, especially ones that got its start from a Kickstarter project.

Actually, I have a hard time trusting anything from Kickstarter in general.

What's wrong with ponying up the dollars for additional storage from a company with a known reputation?

Ya I don't really care much about this cloud store solution they are talking about. I am mostly fascinated with the design on the Mint version. Just something different. If we had our old on par exchange rates, I would have ordered it by now. The fact that it's almost $600 our money is making me think twice about it as you can get something like a Nexus 6P for that dough.
