Windows Media Player worked for me last time I tried it (years ago).

iTunes works surprisingly well too, but if you're going oldschool, not only do you gotta go back, you gotta go way back and make yourself a mixtape.

Nero was the best free program back in the day. If you're gonna go old school go with an old school program too. Listen to the songs on winamp before you burn.

Looked it up and I'm surprised that you can still buy blank tapes.

Ashampoo burning studio has been working well for me for years. I probably make a new mp3 music CD every 4 months or so, still the easiest solution in the car for me.

Side note, just bought a cassette adapter for the old stereo I inherited at work, did that ever take me back :nut:

Amazingly there is a community that's dedicated to recording on Tape.

Lots of the older 80's ones go for big money if sealed.

+1, just watch for the opencandy installer. you can say no to it during the install and they have an opencandy free installer if you dig through their web page.

And it has to have C&C music factory on it.
