Prices for scrap must be way down. Anyone know a scrap metal guy? All the Kijiji guys want $50 to pickup a shell. No motor, no trans, no diff, no wheels

Last time I was at Calgary Metals, they were offering $15/tonne for misc steel.

I'm pretty sure pick n pull doesnt pick up here. I could be wrong. I posted an ad on kijiji that it was free to pick up and some old guy came and loaded it in five minutes. 403-852-5282 in case someone else needs some junk hauled away.

I donated my old truck and got a $110 tax receipt for it, and they knew I had already pulled the engine out of it.

I went with www.donatecar.ca and specified an animal rescue in Lethbridge, but there are other charities listed.
