So the 12" model has been out for a while along with the pencil but the 9.7" just came out yesterday. Has anyone picked one of these up?

The day that lightroom full version runs on an iPad Pro with good battery life is the day I pick one up. I guess I would pick one up if lightroom mobile isn't such a gimped useless edition.

I'm interested in using one as a digitizer tied to Lightroom and Photoshop using Astropad. I have a Wacom Cintiq but it's bulky and I need a new ipad soon anyway.

Would an iPad Air 2 not have good enough specs to run LR/PS using Astropad? Love the idea

I'll probably pick one up as a touch screen for my MBP for lightroom.

Is there also built in screen sharing with OSX? I like the look of duet though because it would also work with my windows desktop along with my MBP.

Sorry, it isn't a screen share. It is a second display with touch input. It extends your desktop.

Ok cool, I will give that a try when I find one. Waiting for costco so I can use my cheque but I didn't see any in store so I will have to order online.

You really need the pen input/digitizer to make it worthwhile.

Both the 'pro' iPad's let you use the pencil, but not the regular ones or the Air's.

Picked one up for, the Apple Store. Will have to play around a bit, seems pretty cool so far. Need to get used to iOS though, never owned an iOS device before .

Still wish they would up the RAM to 3 or 4 GB. My air 2 with 2 gb still finds ways to run out.

Does anyone know if you can use screen protectors with the pencil, this is a finger print magnet and that is kind of annoying.

Great Motorsport Manager playing device so far though :rofl:
Thinking for the next race I will just buy the pass for the F1 app to see the live timings.
